Beached Truckster on Road Trip…

We headed to Pensacola, FL today to celebrate National Donut Day, but we weren’t sure if we were ever going to make it out!  The Truckster died after stopping at TK101 fm so we had to wait it out with nothing to eat…except donuts of course.   Since we had so much time on our hands, we did an interview with Candy from TK101.  You can find her here with her picture getting out of the Truckster.  She was a HUGE fan and I’m told is a movie buff!  She hasn’t posted the interview yet, but hopefully it will be up soon.

The Truckster came to life just as we polished off a dozen donuts (perfect timing) and we headed down the Gulf Coast to Panama City’s Friday Fest where we introduced some locals to the famous mobile.  The party was going well with great music and everyone was playing frisbee with our stunning discs until it began to pour and came to an early ending.

We went and grabbed some soul food at a local restaurant called Po’ Folks and I discovered that you can fry catfish with the bones still in tact.  Don’t worry, I’ve picked all the bones out of my teeth and will be able to chat with fans about the Truckster again tomorrow when we head to Orlando!
